Fault response times

Are there any rough timescales for how long I can expect to wait before receiving a response to a fault ticket please?
Following a home move my broadband was apparently activated yesterday afternoon, but I have had no connection as yet. A ticket was raised yesterday evening, and updated last night stating connection checks could not be completed and the ticket had been escalated. There have been no updates yet today.

Hi nicolakennedy,
Apologies for any delays but there have been backlogs due to reduced staffing levels following the recent adverse weather here in Sheffield. We are endeavouring to update any fault tickets as soon as we can.
