FTTC unlimited

Hi

I ordered my fibre based on the Pn estimate of 43Mb and thebtdsl checker as above . When activated I had a good 48Mb download speed which I was happy with after the 10 days my speed dropped to 38 Mb,( not bad it may go back up a little I thought!).
Since then things have only got worse, now down to 26 mb down and 5.2 Mb up.
Will speed improve? (I don't think so!)
To make things worse the bt dsl checker now has been changed, see below jpg

With ththis latest bombshell from bt I would request a downgrade to the 40/20 unlimited package  please, No point in paying for the 80/20 unlimited package when its not available.

many thanks

Re: FTTC unlimited

@mods,
Should these threads be merged?

@Linn,
Given the response which refers to COTs contact details on the other thread, would one be correct in concluding that the user's line is without fault and has no chance of returning to the initial 48Mbps?

I never got an answer to that question either,
However I have now downgraded to 40/20 unlimited. and will see what happens now!
You may be able to answer  a question that puzzles me, My latest speed test shows, (after downgrade, is showing a slight speed increase?)
