FTTC Speed-related Question

My FTTC has operated at around 75Mb since it was installed several months ago but a couple of days ago I noticed that it had slowed down. BT speed test gives 36.49Mbps and the diagnostic says that the IP profile is 77.43Mbps. The PN Current Line Speed is reported as 38.6Mb. I've run several tests over the last couple of days and the results are very consistent.
Am I right in thinking that the line is currently capable of 77.43 but is limited to 38.6 by PN's profile? In this case should I just wait and expect things to recover in a couple of days?
Is there any way to find out the speed that the BT modem is syncing at? I have the standard PN 582n router.
Thanks.

Re: FTTC Speed-related Question

Plusnet just need to update the line speed as that sounds like whats slowing you down but you should see an improvement once they do that.

Hi quelquod,
I've changed your profile to match your sync speed, you should now see an improvement.
Let me know how you get on.

Re: FTTC Speed-related Question

Thanks Chris, that did it - back to normal (73Mb just now).
IS there any way to interrogate the BT modem via the 582 as to sync speed?
