Hi All,
After an initial problem that caused my speed to massively drop i've had smooth running for a number of months however at some point over the past week i've lost about 20mb in sync speed.
Its gone from being 73mb sync speed to 52. It had run 73 consistently for quite a while.
Anybody got any ideas as to the cause? The wholesale speed test is showing my IP profile has changed too. There has been no equipment changes or wiring changes, and as far as I am aware the openreach modem hasn't been powered off.
Is this the dreaded DLM? how can I lose 20mb inside a week?!.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 50.75 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 40 Mbps-52.27 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 52.27 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 14.69Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps

Hi oliverheard,
I've just taken a look over your line and I've detected an issue on your line. Can you please raise a fault at http://faults.plus.net?

Hi Chris,
Any chance you could explain what they are finding with my line?
I can see things are happening on the ticket #88944088 but I don't really understand the results
Thank you in advance!

Cancel that, they added more at 7:40pm, wasn't expecting that!
The line has gone back to 67mb any idea of the cause? The ticked didn't really say much about what was found.

Oh good!
It looks as though a burst of errors forced DLM to reduce your speeds temporarily but the speeds have returned. Dan updated all the relevant Speed Profiles which brought everything back up to speed.
