FTP Service ??? Cancelled ??

Well - - what happen to the ftp upload Service ?
i understand that plusnet has got a premium service for that - - so pay more if you want ftp -
as it is - offered on standard basis - from 12 pm to 2 am or so it is basically useless and impossible to use - there is simply no speed at all and connecting to servers is an impossible task !! line drops - connections failures etc etc and jokes type speed of 3 to 5 kb sec !!
this is causing lots of distress - waste of time - etc etc very unhappy about this !! 
come on plus net - get it right - - do not be too tight ! - and give us just a touch more to make ftp actually usable !!  - -

are you talking about external FTP ? as that is treated as a download type site and is restricted, see comparison between Value and unlimited below,  Pro is not restricted

very likely yes - called external - im try to connecting to dedicated servers and connections are really hard to get and slow most of the time ! upload of files etc etc -
im on unlimited package - very good for browsing / download - ! but very slow on ftp !  - very hard to use ftp :

you can see that it is very or nearly impossible to keep a stable ftp running - or even connecting to servers !
this is happen on many servers - so it is not a server problem .

That is very odd as upstream speeds aren't capped
Note - do you want to edit out the username
You don't say which ftp program you are using but as a quick check would it be possible to do a test using FireFTP on Firefox as I haven't seen that problem uploading to my 1&1 site

the ftp program is the Filezilla -
let me add also - last night - at exactly 2 am - and as all night - the speed and connectivity all the sudden become i would say norma  - very good uploading at 420 kb/sec - - and this happen every night after 2 am exactly - - all the sudden at 2.01 am sec ftp speed go up -  - it than goes back to 10 - 8 kb/sec in the morning 10 - 11 am or so  - and connectivity become really bad.
