Exchange upgrades

According to the Service Status reports there are multiple exchange upgrades taking place.
Assuming that this is down to 21CN and will therefore be ongoing would there be a possibility of a more user friendly list in alphabetical order showing the dates for each exchange

Re: Exchange upgrades

I think there is a pre-requisite for that - BT giving Plusnet the complete picture in a sensible format!

Re: Exchange upgrades

I wasn't very clear.
I know BT are not providing a complete picture but I was wondering if an incrementally updated list could be provided.

Re: Exchange upgrades

Have you seen the PlusNet Service Status Long List just released?

Re: Exchange upgrades

Flicking through the PUG archives, I see that the similar looking ones from Feb http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1202239773.htm were accompanied by excel spreadies on the hidden boards.
Assuming the presence of spreadsheet versions is the norm, it might be possible for an enterprising PN staffer to create something useful for searching/sorting.
If time is too scarce, they might be able to give PUG the raw materials to let us have a go at producing something helpful.

Unfortunately they aren't Sad
I'll have a look in more detail tomorrow but the information we get has a BT PEW (Planned Engineering Works) reference and to get the exchange name we have to log in to a separate system and grab that info. So it's all a bit time consuming really.

If it's in an Excel spreadsheet, printing to PDF would give something searchable.

Re: Exchange upgrades

My understanding on the upgrade for 21cn has been pulled due to techincal problems.
My exchange should have gone live july-aug 08 but I cannot find any updates dates now

Re: Exchange upgrades

What's wrong with the search in Excel?  Ctrl F brings up the search box, enter your search item and there you are

Re: Exchange upgrades

Nothing - if you have Excel! Wink
Is there a version of the free MS Excel reader for MACs, Linus and every other operating system?
PDF has the advantage of the free Adobe reader for most operating systems.

Re: Exchange upgrades

It could easily be saved out of Excel into a simple table on a plain html input (its one of the save as options in Excel)
The page could be put somewhere for easy access.
The trouble is how often we can get the info, and how we update the info as time goes on.
Questions are being asked and options explored!
