Emails to Hotmail accounts being bounced

I have forwarded an email to three different hotmail addresses and each one had bounced.
The email I was trying to forward was the "Your peak-time usage for this billing month just exceeded 11GB" I had just received from plusnet

I have sent three test messages which all went through ok.
Any ideas on what is going wrong here?

Apparently it is an issue with an outbound mail relay server IP address. It is being removed from the hotmail blacklist.
Plusnet are dealing with it now.

I've had the same sort of problem since yesterday morning, but only to one specific hotmail.com account, e-mail was getting through fine to another hotmail.co.uk account!  I did manage to get one e-mail through to the hotmail.com account after re-booting my adsl modem, but then stopped working again, even after re-booting.
I know of other users who have this problem, so is it possible for PlusNet to make a general announcement about this problem and then let us all know when it is fixed (if it isn't already fixed)?
I've had to resort to creating a mailbox to use web mail to send e-mails.

Hotmail got back to us yesterday and advised that the block would be removed at 6am this morning. So if you are still seeing examples of emails being blocked by hotmail please raise a ticket with the details on or let me know on here.

Thanks for your action on this.  Could I just ask if the blacklisting was as a result of spam being sent from Plusnet to Hotmail?  If so is it not possible to identify the offenders?

Jelv, this was the question, not the sevice status (which Chris Parr eluded to in reply #10).
