Re: Email receive size

The limit on incoming emails on Plusnet is 100MB - the problem is more likely to be at his end.

Re: Email receive size

If your account with PN has web space and it not being used you can transfer files by ftp at ftp.plus.net

Re: Email receive size

Providing he gives his friend his Plusnet account name and password - not the best idea in the world!

Re: Email receive size

Could go to http://tinyurl.com and generate a url linked to ftp://user:password@ftp.plus.net this way his friend will not know the account name and password.

Re: Email receive size

You could sign up to Dropbox https://www.getdropbox.com/install
This will keep up to 2GB of files on a PC synchronised with remote versions.
Allows you to give a Dropbox URL for the location of a file.

Re: Email receive size

Or if your friend has his own webspace he could upload it there and send you a link. We do that all the time at work for sending bigger files.
