Newly received e-mails get listed anywhere in my Inbox Message List; they might be near the top or near the end or somewhere in between! This is a nuisance when there are several pages of read messages (ie still listed) to sort through. Can I control this listing order?
I'd appreciate help on this.

You can select how you want your emails listed. I have my inbox listed by date in ascending order. In Thunderbird you simply click the date icon and then select how you want your list shown.

You can click on the icon/title of the relevant column in most mail clients and in web mail.

I use Plusnet for all e-mails. Those received stay in the Inbox until I decide whether to delete them or keep them in a separate folder.

I use Outlook Express when I download.
I have solved my problem on Plusnet, thanks to Anotherone and artmo - a simple matter of clicking on 'date'!
