Re: Duplicate emails from router

The message ID's are the same which makes me think it is the same message. The last time I saw something like that I had made a mess of an outlook rule and it was being copied after I had received it.
Can I suggest you look in webmail (or using something like Magic Mail Monitor to check on the server) to see if there are two copies before you send/receive.

Re: Duplicate emails from router

Looked in webmail this morning and there is only one copy of the email there.  Interestingly though the date shows a Oct 1, 2007 Huh
Downloaded the message via Outlook and I have the duplicate again.  The date  in Outlook is correct

Re: Duplicate emails from router

Have you got any Outlook rules processing incoming messages? If so I suggest you move the one for these logs to the top and make sure you have the option "Stop processing more rules" set in it.

Re: Duplicate emails from router

Did as you suggested and no longer getting duplicates Grin
Seems strange that those rules have been in existanc for quite some time without getting duplicates and then suddenly they start.  Oh well that's Micro$$oft for you I guess Smiley
Thanks for the help

Re: Duplicate emails from router

No problem - I was able to help because I have a Netgear and use Outlook and had done exactly the same as you in the past!
