Dual Band Fibre Router

Can anybody recommend a good dual band router that works well with Plusnet? I have tried a Netgear N600 WNDR3700 router which gave constant disconnections and slow connection speed. I exchanged the Netgear at  PC World, but still had the same results with the replacement.  I tried Netgear support, and basically it was waste of time, so returned the router for a refund.

Using the Asus RT-N66U here. Very impressed so far. Have a look at:

Re: Dual Band Fibre Router

As I'm no technical wizz kid, I settled for the baby brother, the RT-N56U. I'm no gamer & therefore it provides everything required for 2 laptops, WD My Book Live network storage, printer, Nexus 7 & a smart TV.  Smiley

Re: Dual Band Fibre Router

Ok, thanks for the info. I now know that the 2 Asus routers work fine on Plusnet, so will research the best deal.
