DownStream Connection Speed dropped to 1408 kbps

I have been having recent problems with broadband and phone, where internet kept disconnecting every few mins,
I did a broadband fault checker on Friday, and I got an email saying open reach is looking into it. Since then, my internet is now working again all the time, but the DownStream Connection Speed has dropped to 1408 kbps
Can someone please fix this>?

Hi Andrea2006,
I can see that we've detected a fault with your phone line that is more then likely causing your broadband issues, we've reported this to our suppliers and this is due to be resolved by the 10th October.
