Domain Hosting & Postini

I recently transferred a client's domain into their account for DNS Hosting Only (I manage the domain reg elsewhere).
Things went reasonably smoothly, but the Postini filtering was not activated.  My Spam management page results in an error if I try to make any changes.
The Support team have now escalated the problem to the 'code team' or something (I assume they are the guys who actually write the scripts, etc).
My problem is no-one will give me any idea of time-scale as there "are no SLA's for this".  When pushed for an answer I am told it could be a few hours or it could be weeks!  And no ability to tell in between.  I am supposed to sit and wait for my ticket to be updated.  I can't tell you how frustrating this is, and how bad it looks to my client (and therefore my reputation that goes with it).
Can somebody please tell me how long this is going to take.  It's not exactly an unusual configuration.
