I have been on ADSL2 for a few months now and I have tried uploading photos and noticed the modem is connected at 850+kbps but the upload is only going at about 60kBps which I would expect to get roughly on normal ADSL upload speed and had expected closer to 100kBps with an upload speed of 850+kbps.
I have also tried a couple of sped test sites and they are only ust over 500k rather than closer to the 850k that the connection is.

903kbps upsync
Think a 448sync on adsl use to give 380kbps thoughput so call that -70 off the sync. Ive got spot on ish double what i had on adsl so call it -140 off the 903sync so just going on the sums of adsl i should be lookin at 763kbps thoughput on my adsl2 sync so my lines doing slightly better

I was told that the true "throughput" is 13% less than the sync speed. Therefore, 1,000 sync speed gives 870. 844 give 734, 488 gives 425. (All figures have been rounded).

Hi Fraser,
I can't see anything obvious that would be causing your upload speeds to be lower, although your download spync speeds seem to be a touch on the miraculous side if the information I have is correct.
Might be worth trying to reboot, otherwise I'd just keep an eye on things and see if it improves.
