Hi all
Just signed up with PlusNet again after finally buying my own home
I have an old Thompson router from my student days (about 5-6 years ago)
Is the one that I have just paid postage & packaging for any better or should I stick with my existing on from an old PlusNet account?
Thanks

Hi wivenhoe6, welcome to the forums.
If the old one works, I don't see any reason to not use it, really. But for the sake of £5.99 it's probably worth having the new one anyway, even if it's just for a back up.

Thanks Harry.
Do you know whether it is likely to be a different (improved) version or the same Thompson one?
Thanks again

Thank you for the replies guys.
My phone line went live today - within just a couple of hours!!!!
Are you able to check the progress of my broadband order so that I know roughly what date to expect internet from?
I ask because I am going to pay for BTwifi access (not cheap) while we wait & would like to avoid paying for more days than necessary.
Thanks again
