It looks like an automated order to uncap the upstream was placed on your line and completed on the 9th September, hope it's a good thing?

Re: Disconnected at 10pm every night

I think it will be a good thing, I might get host advantage once in a while now!
It hasn't had much if any negative effect on my downstream (obviously it fluctuates some anyway). I don't think I have had a disconnection that didn't instigate with the TP so far.
On a side note: the amount info the TP logs and tracks is far superior to my WAG54GS or the Billion 7800N I had until it broke.

No disconnection again. I used Routerstats, there was no spike in noise.

Re: Disconnected at 10pm every night

That's almost suggesting the problem could be with the old router, I was thiking about this when I remembered that my router actually has a setting to 'clear the connection' at a specific time every day, apparently some ISPs in parts of Europe like to have the connection 'refreshed' daily, on my router the default is 2am (adjustable) but it is starting to sound like a possible explanation, on my router this setting was on by default so would return in the event of a factory reset.

Re: Disconnected at 10pm every night

It would be a nice tidy resolution  if it were/is the router. I will plug the old one in again in a few weeks, I want to see how the TP goes for while.
