Broadband light flashing, internet light off, all others on. I've tried change of microfilters, different router, plugged in to master socket, manually connect from gateway and set up. Any suggestions? Thanks

You haven't plugged anything into any extensions without a filter, eg a Skybox, another phone, fax machine etc.etc.?
When you say plugged to Master socket, did you try the test socket behind the front plate or have you not got an NTE5 ?

Hey, thanks for the reply. No extensions, and it is the test socket I've tried plugging the router in to.

I take it the "Broadband" or "Sync" light was flashing with both routers, pick up the phone, if you listen to the phone line can you hear any crackling or other noises? (dial a 1 at it to rid the dial tone, you'll get NUT after a while).

If you hear crackling on your phone line, report a phone fault to your line rental provider, but DON'T mention the broadband otherwise you may get the run around.
If no noise on the phone line report a broadband fault
