Hmm strange, I'll ask networks to take a look.

Re: DNS preggers again

Yes me too using firefox and IE, I've noticed my Thomson is telling me that it can't connect to either secondary or primary DNS.  Curiously I can get on to a select few sites, including this one.

I  had trouble getting on to the Members Portal about 30 mins ago, think I was on ag02, but now get the reply - not known
Browing OK on  another tab, and was uploding to Photobucket OK at the time

Re: DNS preggers again

Yep, looks like there was a blip around 20/30 mins ago. It's being looked at.

Re: DNS preggers again

Been on and off for the last three hours here.
And just had all todays e-mails download at once?
They've been sitting there since 10.30 this morning. Doesn't now seem to want to pick any more up. "Unable to find the e-mail server"
And now can't get into webmail either - server "taking too long to respond"

Re: DNS preggers again

Shouldn't have been ongoing for 3 hours if I'm honest, there was a network blip on the DNS caches at around 3.15 so anything before that is likely to be unrelated.

Its a long blip, pages still refusing to load, email unable to connect to server, and usenet not working at all - not even at the normally slow 'throttled' speed. Hopefully this will post

Re: DNS preggers again

Very strange, there isn't anything odd showing up on the monitoring prior to 3.15 and networks can't find any issues before that. I'll keep my eye out for more examples of it.

Re: DNS preggers again

I had one this morning but a retry fixed it - now running with OpenDNS again
One big advantage of my Netgear over my Speedtouch - it is dead easy to change
