Re: DNS issues

Yes, for some time now I have had intermittent DNS lookup errors, but today as you say, Facebook will not resolve at all.
EDIT/
Just tried NSlookup command at command level... Facebook.com resolves to 3 addresses, but there is no response from those addresses. Either; it's down but as there appears to be no global panic. I guess Plusnet has a routing problem and base on the changes made recently this looks likely.

Re: DNS issues

OpenDNS doesn't seem to be working too good for me... it seems to get further than PN but I then get a routing failure.

Re: DNS issues

Re: DNS issues

Yep. Facebook seems to have DNS problems for many Europeans/Brits.
I had a prod around and it looks like the Americans are OK. You can see the problem if you run CMD in Windows and try:
nslookup www.facebook.com

or using Google's DNS:
nslookup www.facebook.com 8.8.8.8

I wonder if it's anything to do with this debacle? http://bit.ly/y17Bhg

Unfortunately, Facebook's CDN immediately redirects you to... www.facebook.com  Roll_eyes
