I'm looking for some help with setting up the system log on a DSL-2640B. Does anyone know if it's possible to monitor the noise margin using the system logs? The options I'm currently using are Debugging level and Error reporting, which is useful for telling me how long I've been connected, at what sync rate, and when any resyncs occur (as well as numerous ethernet link up/down notifications whenever I power up/down the PC).
The router also has the facility to email this log to me when it gets full, but it requires SMTP authorisation. I don't know what this is, but where it asks for info should I enter
relay.plus.net as in my Outlook setup?
