Could I have Interleaving Turned On Please

My line gets lots of intermittent external errors. So it's prone to just dropping on a large burst.
With the recent problem I had I asked for Interleaving/FEC to be turned on and it was. Brilliant up for over a week with no sign of dropping, until Interleaving was turned off no doubt due to the line proving it was "stable".
So I assume it was just turned on but left on auto?
Can Interleaving be turned on to stay on?

Thanks, interleaving does seem to make a big difference to my connections stability.
