Contract Help!
Well looks like some changes went through about 2am
Currently the connection is syncing with a target SNR of 6db on both down & upstreams, is their a further tweak to be made or has it increased it to 6db due to errors.
I have had a little tinker this morning, changing from ADSL2+ to 2 and then back to 1, I've not long re-synced it back on ADSL2 as I read this is basically ADSL1 but improved and ADSL2+ also added 5db to the downstream attenuation and not the 2/3db I first expected.
Either way it seems to have worked and as you can see from the BQM the latency is now lower than my Virgin "Fibre Based" service and the upload has increased also.
Will keep an eye out for issues.
