Constant packets sent to Router port 30627

I have noticed that my router is constantly (between one and three times a second) receiving data packets from random IP addresses but always to my router port 30627.
It does this even from a hard reset with no devices attached to it.
Is this something Plusnet or BT is doing to monitor my ADSL2+ line?

Hi Danplusnet,
It's definitely nothing that Plusnet or BT are doing. Have you tried finding out who the ip addresses belong to?
Go to  http://www.whois-search.com/ ; and pop the ip address in there. You may get a bit more of an idea about what's going on.
