Consistent loss of broadband

Every night for the past 2 1/2 weeks since moving between 20:00 and 21:00 hours we lose service. I know its not the device because the router remains up and accessible on the network. However the broadband status to the router shows disconnected. I do not believer the router isn't the issue (I use a 3rd party router) as the connection will be restored 5-20 minuets later and the same is experienced with the router plusnet shipped out when I took on their service.

I have troubleshooted rebooted the router (this does not speed the time taken to reconnect), Tried new cables to the router etc to try and rule these aspects out.

any thoughts?

Re: Consistent loss of broadband

You need to plug router into your Master Socket's, Test Socket to eliminate downstream wiring fault in your property. If it behaves in Test Socket, Openreach would charge to fix, and if beyond your capabilities to sort yourself, a sparkie would be cheaper.
