Connectivity issues

The wireless devices around the house have been randomly disconnecting lately and the broadband speed has been terrible.  The router is fine, the devices are fine, they are not too far away.  In fact devices in the same room have problems with connectivity to the point that we have to wire them up.  This however is impossible for phones and laptops used in a different part of the house.
Can someone please check my statistics and the data on your end to see if you can see a problem anywhere?
Thanks.

Re: Connectivity issues

Can you please post the TG582n Full DSL stats (login needed) and we can see if that's giving any indication of problems.

Re: Connectivity issues

Oh dear, that downstream sync speed is poor for your length line and current noise margin. Lets go through a number of basics.
First, did you reboot(or switch on) the modem/router around 0850 ish on the morning of the 5th? Do you normally leave it on 24/7 or switch off periodically?
Can you hear/have you heard any crackling or other noises on the line when using the phone? Have you had any problems with incoming or outgoing calls? Dial 17070 select option 2 for the Quiet Line Test.
Do you have any extension phone sockets, and where are you currently plugged in?
Can you run the BTw Performance test (ignore the red preamble except make sure no other programs are using the Internet - do not reboot/switch off the modem/router) and at the end of the first run, click the Further Diagnostics button, enter just your Phone number and Run the Further Diagnostics Test.
Do a Copy and Paste of the results and post here (no need to grab an image).
Also your Current Line speed (Login required) and don't post your phone number.
If a CRT member reads the thread, a Vis. Radius could be very useful.

Re: Connectivity issues

Hi,
I can't really add to what AnotherOne has said. If you can get that information for us, we'll be able to advise further.
Apart from last Saturday, the connection itself looks good. I've enclosed your connection logs here so that you can try to match that against what you have seen.
