Connection frequently dropping

Hi,
I have noticed that my DSL connection appears to be dropping quite regularly. It always reconnects immediately and downtime is usually only a few seconds, but I'm just wondering why this is happening?
It happened again just now in the last 10 minutes:

Jul 22 12:45:22 PPP CHAP Chap receive success : authentication ok
Jul 22 12:45:22 PPP CHAP Receive challenge (rhost = pcl-ag06)
Jul 22 12:45:20 PPP CHAP Receive challenge (rhost = bras-red8.bm-th)
Jul 22 12:45:07 PPP link down (Internet) [212.159.22.223]
I have not raised a ticket yet as it's not a priority problem as such, I just wondered if it may be due to connection inactivity or something? I'm on PlusNet Extra package with a fixed IP address.

It could be one of many different things causing this issue. You'd be best raising a fault if you need us to get to the bottom of this. However if it's not a big problem for you I'd not worry about it unless it starts happening frequently.
