Connection failing every few days (FTTC)

Service had been very good until recently.
Now drops every few days and Plusnet router shows attempting to connect but fails until I reboot it. Sometimes several reboots required. I'm away from home at the moment but my daughter only just told me internet had been down for two days. Restored after I told her to reboot BT Openreach fibre box and Plusnet router. So, does not self recover.
Phone service fine.
Can my line be checked to see if any problems? Is it more likely that the Plusnet router is unwell? (settings have not been changed for months).

Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear you've been having problems with the connection remaining stable. If you could raise a fault here first and we can then see what the outcome of the investigation is and advise you further from there.

Ok. Will have to wait a few weeks until I'm there as nothing can be checked until I've run the trouble shooter it would appear.

You can run the troubleshooter from another connection but you may have problems answering all the questions
