Connection drops and very slow speeds

Hi There
Since the outage earlier this month I'm getting constant disconnections and when I do manage to get online speeds are more like dial up. Service is pretty much unusable.
I called customer service who sent out a new router but no difference
Anyone have any ideas - close to voting with my feet

Hi Roger,
Welcome to the forums, sorry to hear of your connectivity issues.  If this is (as it sounds to be) a problem with the phone line / BT equipment, changing the body you pay your bills to will not resolve the issue - it will move with you.
Let's get some facts and see what can be done to help you.  Can you please read the "speed issues" thread at the top of this forum and post all of the requested information.
Also do a quite line test - dial 17070 option 2.

Thanks for quick response. I'm at work at minute but will pick the suggestions up later.
I did run some tests via speedtest.net and was getting 0.21 mb upload speeds...
Everything was fine before the big problems earlier this month
