It seem's that the connection was dropping this morning but from what i gather this was done on purpose by the faults team doing checks on the line? well from what it looks like from the ticket response anyway. Should i be concerned that my SN margin (up) has gone from 6.5 to 32? i understand what the (down) does but what does the (up) do when it comes to margin? higher the number meant to be better?

That's the Up figure, the Down is 6.5
Just looked at the previous stats postings and I'd guess that your upstream has been capped as the speed has gone to 440, that's why the Upstream margin has changed,  probably as a result of the drops, Shame we hadn't seen any more stats in between.
Have you tried another Filter and modem/router by the way? Had a quick glance through the thread and can't see it mentioned, sorry if I missed it.
When you do go to do swaps, good practise is to powerdown the modem/router first before disconnecting from the line.

Hey anotherone,
Yea ive tried a new filter but i don't have a new router to hand to test that. Strange thing is my connection just dropped again a few moments ago.. I don't really know whats going on with it, It's dropped a few times this morning also i was told. Really starting to get annoying.

When it drops, grab the phone and see if you can hear any audible crackling. Dial a 1 at it. If you need to listen for longer do the Quiet Line test on 17070.

I can only suggest seeing what the faults team come back with from your reply. I take it you are in the test socket?

I tried the test socket a few days back but the disconnects were still happening. Currently using the normal socket that ive always used.

I appreciate it might have dropped in there a few days ago but I imagine the faults team will be investigating under the impression it's in the test socket.

Possibly.
@skib10, if you put it back in the test socket for me and it's still dropping I'll see if I can arrange for another router to be sent out.
