Connection could not be established: Concentrator not reachable.

Yesterday my internet lost connection and would not reconnect, I had no light on the router for internet and no activity on modem's DSL light, when I tried connecting through the admin panel in router I got this error "Connection could not be established: Concentrator not reachable."
I waited a few hours and it still gave me the same error, I tried full restart of router and had no luck then I turned modem & router for 15mins to see if that would solve it "sadly it didn't".
I submitted a ticket through the Help Assistant and after an hour I got this response from a bot
Thanks for reporting your broadband problem
Our tests have found a fault with your broadband service.

Now shortly after this my internet came back online so I closed the ticket, which maybe I should not have done, as I'm not sure what the issue was and if it was fixed. Since then I've these new entry's in my router logs
Error  May 18 18:26:02 [CWMP] Connection timed out
Error  May 18 17:27:00 [CWMP] Connection timed out
Error  May 18 16:22:31 [CWMP] Connection timed out
these go on at 1hr intervals since my internet came back online from the issue abve.
Does anyone know what this error means? I've tried searching google but it's usually included in just a pasted router log.
Any plus.net staff members care to take a look at my closed ticket to see if my issue was solved?
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm glad to see that your connection is back up and running:

When you lose connection on FTTC and your Modem/Router attempts to reconnect continuously, it can provide you with a 'Concentrator not reachable' message after a certain number of attempts. Leaving the modem and router powered off for 10-15 minutes and attempting to reconnect would usually do the trick.
I wouldn't worry about the error message, I imagine it's an error message that was provided when the router was attempting to re-establish your connection.

Alrighty thank you Chris, I noticed as well that there was a fault on the exchange on the 17/05/2014 at 18:14 which corresponds with the graph above, so that's excellent news in terms of easing my worries that maybe my hardware was failing.
Cheer's, thanks for taking the time to respond.
