You don't have to leave it in the test socket for any length of time, so long as you're prepared to have a reduced performance. You're quite welcome to send us a ticket to have interleaving turned off, but as your line has been unstable recently I wouldn't rule out it causing problems again.

You can do that, but as I said before if you're still in that upstairs extension you're not going to get a true idea of whether your line is performing well with it off as any issues could still be caused by the internal wiring.

as at the moment they have been the same router stats since before new year, does my IP Profile go up?
Thanks alot

The IP Profile only changes relative to the Sync Rate, and you're still achieving 4543 Kbps sync, which still means an IP Profile of 3500 (according to this lookup table at Kitz).
If your sync was just 1kbps higher, your IP Profile would move, sometime following, up to 4000.
Using FTTC since 2011. Currently on 80/20 Unlimited Fibre Extra.

On the 4th you reported a result from BT's speedtester, which indicated the same sync speed (aka "DSL Connection Rate"), and BT's version of the profile at the time was 3500.
Quote from: Y2J From BT Line Test
Your DSL Connection Rate :4543 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 440 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 3500 Kbps
Try taking a look at another BT speedtester result, and see if it reports 3500 or 4000.
Of course, this will still only fiddle with the IP profile between 3500 and 4000, and isn't close to getting you up to 5000. For that to happen, you need to significantly improve that sync rate - to between 5696 kbps and 6208 kbps.
Using FTTC since 2011. Currently on 80/20 Unlimited Fibre Extra.

Download Speed
3440 Kbps
0 Kbps 4000 Kbps
Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 3440 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 1200-4000 Kbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 3500 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 12.9:23.48:63.62 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.

Your BT profile is still set at 3500, the PN one is incorrect. You should try leaving your connection on continuously for this to lift to 4000.
Latest connection logs...
