Connected, No internet - ADSL

Hi,

Struggling to maintain a stable connection on devices. Showing Connected, No internet and then loses connection.

Tried disabling wifi and back on again, connection lasts a few seconds and then goes off again.

I see other threads on this but not sure what the issue is.

Router is showing green lights.

Re: Connected, No internet - ADSL

Is this on mobile devices, or laptops/desktops?

OK - next question. Over Wi-Fi, or ethernet connections?

@gypsyreiver

Is this just a continuation of this problem? If so you are just causing confusion by starting a new topic https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/iphone-11-unable-to-connect-to-wifi/m-p/1818716#M27262

@Baldrick1 Difficult to tell - previous topic didn't mention fixed devices.😉

Re: Connected, No internet - ADSL

Hi,

Not sure i'm best qualified to answer that, that was specific to iphone unable to actually connect to the network full stop. This is a connection which is dropping out when connected, so i should think they are not related.

Do i just raise a fault and track it that way, if this is not the best mechanism to get solved.  If this is not the place to get help from plusnet i'll go elsewhere.

Regards

If you reply to my question in post #4, we may have a better idea of what to suggest.

@gypsyreiver

It's very simple really, are you able to get a stable connection on a computer connected to the Internet when it's connected via an Ethernet cable? If so then it's a wireless problem, the same as it was in your last topic.

Reading your last paragraph, if you do not want advice from fellow customers then do say so and I for one will go away.

Re: Connected, No internet - ADSL

WIFI. 3 metres from router so no issues with signal. I could plus an ethernet but kind of defeats the object and is not practical.

Is there an error log on the router, tried to find one but doesn't seem to exist like my old BT Hub.

Re: Connected, No internet - ADSL

Just try with a cable - that would confirm it is a Wi-Fi issue, and we may have further suggestions. We ARE trying to help here.
