Community Forum Moderator Elections - The voting process

The final stage of the Community Forum Moderator elections is now here.
We have 3 candidates who have said that they are willing to stand, and have submitted a short piece about why they should be a Community Forum Moderator. We are planning to fill 1 vacancy at this current time.
We ask you to read their mini statement, and make your choices according to who you think would make a suitable moderator for these forums.
The period of voting will last for 10 days and will automatically lock out when the poll expires.
    * Each user is allowed to vote for 1 candidates, which is the number of vacancies to be filled - there will be no option to edit/change your vote, and the number of votes for each candidate will only be revealed at the end of the voting period.
    * If it is found that there evidence of "vote rigging" or collusion between users to distort the voting figures unfavorably, then all votes will be null and void, and the election will be re-run.

I have been with PN since 2003 and am on Premier 1.
Why I believe I think I'd make a good moderator? hmm tough.
"I don't know if I will make a good moderator, but I try to be constructive with my feedback.  Not to criticise other members, to be positive, informative and encouraging whilst making sure the forum rules are followed. Most of all I'd like to give something back to forums that have helped me."

As a long time contributor to these forums (and several others) I have seen many examples of when and how a moderator should, or should not intervene. This is a fundamental part of successful moderating and I believe that, with my experience of working with a wide range of people from many ethnic and social backgrounds before and after retirement, I have a reasonable understanding of how to fulfil the requirements of the position.
As may be deduced from my avatar I am now in the “Third Age” and I would hope to be able to draw on my many years of experience as an engineer with management responsibilities to fulfil the demands of the role should I be fortunate enough to be elected.

I would like to volunteer as a Moderator as I have been a regular user and contributer to all the Forums for a very long time. I am on the Forums everyday and sometimes 3 times a day. With over 18 years It experience I  have a lot to offer the Forums.
I have administered forums of many sorts in the past

Here are the mini statements submitted by the candidates, in alphabetical order.
Very worthy candidates indeed, I'm sure everyone will agree, and I wish everyone luck with the elections.
The poll will automatically lock in 10 days, and the successful candidates will be announced shortly after.
