Checking line drops

Can someone from PN please check how many times my line has dropped/disconnected in the last 2 weeks?

My download speeds have been going up and down dramatically recently and I think it's because of the disconnections.

It's been down to 2Mbps some days and I can't even watch catch-up tv without the buffering! The upload speed is impossible.

Today is a good day for both Smiley

Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Checking line drops

I've attached a graph showing how many drops you've had below.

It looks like there's the odd day here and there where it drops quite alot but aside from that it's currently stable.

Our tests aren't showing any issues with the connection with regards to speed either as you should be getting around 7mbps.

Are you connecting over a wired or wireless connection?

Re: Checking line drops

Hi Matthew,

I am wired. I have also replaced the filter and plugged into the test socket. That's what PN would normally tell me to do.

PN also replaced the router a few weeks ago because of the same problems but it seems it hasn't helped.

Every time the line drops I have to wait for the router to settle down. I'm always told I have to wait up to 10 days for this to happen!

I only renewed my contract in January so very annoyed that I will have to wait until December to try and change providers.
