Changing phone provider. Does it cause a problem?

Hi there,
Next week I change my phone supplier from BT to Sky. It has just occured to me that this may cause a problem with my BB.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case or will my BB just continue as it stands?
Thanks in advance.

Did you tell them you already had broadband with another supplier? If so it should continue as normal.

Careful - if Sky is LLU you could lose your broadband connection despite telling them you already have broadband elsewhere

Re: Changing phone provider. Does it cause a problem?

your best off joining sky for broadband its fast and reliable,i was with them 12 months and never had any problems,my speeds stayed at 7.6meg exept at peak times when it dropped to 5.2meg which is still fast your best off having phone and broadband with them,im struggling to get 50kbs download with plusnet i know my line is fine just i hope plusnet get a move on with this fault, because a free hd box, home phone and fast broadband is very tempting to go back lol.
