Re: Change Line Profile

So my router is syncing at 6.6Mb but when I do a speed test I'm only getting between 1.5Mb and 2.5Mb, any help would be awesome.

Re: Change Line Profile

Run a BT speed test and when the first part completes click the Further Diagnostics button. That will tell you your downstream IP Profile (you could copy/paste the results to here if you want help interpreting them). Next go to https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed and check that your Current Line Speed is the same as the IP Profile.

Re: Change Line Profile

As it's now the weekend and the Digital Care team are unlikely to be around until Monday you'll need to ring or raise a ticket asking for your current line speed to be set to match your IP Profile.

Re: Change Line Profile

Hi, just went to bump this up for you but it'd already been done Smiley it updated automatically just after midnight last night.
Hope you've noticed an improvement in the speeds?

Re: Change Line Profile

With your attenuation you might expect better than that - could you post your full router stats please.
