Can't login to webmail today - any known issues?

Getting an error today when trying to login to my plusnet webmail, but wife's account is fine.
I've been using it ok for the last few days so is anyone aware of any issues or maintenance?
Error is "connection dropped by IMAP server"

As far as I know the only issue with basic webmail (Squirrelmail) is an "expired session" error if one tries to purge deleted messages, Apart from this it works for me.
However advanced webmail (Roundcube)  works OK. This is due to become the default webmail application tomorrow morning. Announcements - forum and service status.
