Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

I been having this weird fault over the last 2 days, it's intermittent so just when I think it's fixed it happens again.
I try to go to Facebook and all I get is an update flash message which I can't get passed. I know flash is up to date and it can't be my computer at fault as the same thing happens on my android tablet and Nokia phone which is running Linux, both of which can't run flash anyway.
Very odd.
Rebooting computer and router doesn't work.

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

Could it have something to do with
http://www.scmagazine.com/poisoned-youtube-ads-serve-caphaw-banking-trojan/article/335465/
You could try something like the free AdblockPlus
Or it may be worth
D/Loading & installing the free Malwarebytes Antimalware to check if you have any malware
Also make sure you have the latest version of your Web Browsers
If for example you use Chrome & have the latest FlashPlayer for that, yow may also have to install the latest FlashPlayer for other Browsers like IE (I know a pain but needs to be done on some systems)

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

If it was just my computer the first thing I would think of is a virus but it's my tablet on phone as well?

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

Which router are you using?
Can you check the DNS servers in your router (let me know if you don't know how)?

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

If you go to your router admin page, you should find it there under Status.
I was wondering if it might be related to this - http://www.pcworld.com/article/2104380/attack-campaign-compromises-300000-home-routers-alters-dns-se...
But I would doubt it now seeing as you have a different router.

No sure if I'm looking at the right thing but everything's set to 'obtain an IP address automatically'

Can you post a screenshot of the error you get when trying to access the sites?

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

And you get exactly the same error on multiple devices?
Are you using Firefox?

I'm on Chrome mainly but Firefox gives the same message as well as my Android tablet and Nokia phone

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

Actually occasional I get a different message and it's just happened again:

Re: Can't connect to Facebook or YouTube

Can you try manually setting the DNS just to see if that does help?  You should be able to change them to ours, Googles, OpenDNS via your router interface.
Our DNS addresses are: 212.159.6.9 and 212.159.6.10
