My modem usually establishes ADSL d/l speed at about 4200 - 4500 kbps, with SN margin below 6 dB. With such low margin i'm getting loads of errors and connection is unusable. I have restarted router several times, but it keeps syncing above 4000.
Is it possible for support engineer to lower my sync speed permanently to ca 3800 kbps? I have identified my plasma TV as source of interference for broadband and with tv on SN margin drops significantly and for ADSL speed above 4000 kbs i'm getting loads of errors and unreliable connecction.
On a side note, just tried calling support to sort it, but with estimated 45min wait I just gave up. Is there a way to log a service request online?

Go to the Plusnet Home Page, click on Help & Support, then Ask a Question, then Technical Support, then Other. You'll need to log in.
You should ask to have your SNR margin fixed at 9dB - if it's currently at a 6dB target but dropping because of interference from the Plasma TV, then setting it to a 9dB target should give you a bit more "cushion" for drops, at the expense of some of your headline downstream speed.
