I've had an issue for the past month or so which pushed my sync rate down to around 2000-2100kbps from a typical 2400-2500kbps (a big chunk of tones missing 24/7 and then huge error spikes at various times). It settled on 2187kbps for a few days which resulted in a PN profile of 1.9Mbps (correct).
On Friday the speed increased a bit (and the previously missing tones are being loading fine) but my PN profile is still showing as 1.9Mb after 3 days. In that time there has been one more ADSL resync on Saturday morning (initial resync on Friday took it to 2407kbps and now it's at 2361kbps), which should have resulted in PN profiles being 2.1Mb and then 2.0Mb respectively. I would therefore expect to be seeing the profile as 2.0Mb now.
A question for PN staff - when was the last delta report received for my line, and what values were in it? Thanks.
PS: Don't nudge my profile yet (hardly worth it anyway), lets see if it does change on its own.

The latest delta report for your line was generated today at 9.30am showing a sync rate of 2360, therefore it *should* updated within the next few hours to a profile of 2000 (2360*0.882 = 2081).

Thanks, as of 22:00, the PN profile hasn't moved.
So it seems that PN have received the correct delta report from BT, but aren't applying it within 12 hours.
Edit: As of 6am this morning it is set correctly, so it changed some time overnight.

There have been many complaints about PN being slow to update their profile on ADSL2+ (where the BT IP Profile changes instantaneously if the symc rate changes). I guess this example illustrates that Plusnet can take well over 12 hours even after they have received the correct delta report from BT.
