That's interesting; I hadn't noticed that - With the IP Profile remaining the same but giving various speed test results; does this indicate a specific issue?

No, it eliminates a certain type of issue where BT accidentally limit the rate of your connection.  Plusnet can do the same thing and we cannot be sure it has not happened but it does not seem very likely.  Check your Current Line Speed here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed which should be the same as your IP Profile (rounded down to one decimal place).

So that eliminates the third possibility of the four I listed in reply #5.

No I haven't.
I'd rather not do that at this time; my router is less than a year old and was perfectly fine with my previous ISP.
Can you tell me what Plusnet has done to try and resolve this issue?

Not to say that Plusnet should not be looking at this issue from their end, but everything works perfectly fine until it goes wrong.  If you don't want to try another router you could, with a bit of effort, try your current router somewhere else.

As per ReedRichards reply; it hasn't been mentioned in previous posts.
Is there a test I need to undertake to find out or is this something Plusnet can find out?
If it is considered to be a congested exchange; what are my options?
Why would this be something we are only experiencing since our move to Plusnet?
Speed test results this morning are in the region of 10Mbps - however as per the attached BBC iPlayer Speed Test; their 4 readings are vastly different.

I think you need to raise a fault.  It's not to do with traffic management and your exchange isn't congested, so it points to either local issue (your router, other traffic on your internal network) or a problem with your line.
It would make sense to test it with a different router to eliminate it from the equation.
