Broadband usage

Hi, I have Broadband installed at my Caravan and have noticed there is usage on days I am not there.

It is minimal, average of around 130kb a day but just wondered if this is normal or should I flag it up?

They're usually just 'keep alive' packets and general house-keeping, nothing to be concerned about.

If the router is left on and has Wifi enabled and the amount of data increases substantially then it becomes more of a concern.

Hi there,

Don't worry, that's completely normal. It's just the router sending out packets of information in order to check tat the connection is still up.
