Broadband stuck with an orange light

I have no dial tone on my house phone and have done a line check which shows a fault and that has been logged. My broadband is now showing in an orange light. I've tried plugging and unplugging and checking sockets etc but it hasn't made any difference. When I called to speak to tech help there is no one there to answer. HELP!!

@jessgeddes25 Welcome to the forums. If you have a line fault, that will be the reason - the broadband signal come down the same line as your phone, so if you have a line problem, your internet connection will be affected.

Wait until you are advised the phone problem is fixed (or you can hear a dial tone), and then check your router again.
