Broadband not activated

I’ve switched from BT to Plusnet and my home phone was active 02/10/20. However my broadband was supposed to have been activated 00:00 on 03/10/20. I’ve not received any confirmation email or sms, and I can’t get through to any customer service, either by phone or online chat. So this is my next best thing.

@FionaS Welcome to the forums. If you haven't received confirmation, have you tried to use the PN router? It should be active by now, but just occasionally, the email/SMS notifications 'miss'.

My router is connected and blue light is on. Every time I try to connect, it always sends me to the hub manager, where it states it’s connected however, the router is definitely not connected to the internet.

Have you checked that the login details are correct? They should be in the form of 'username@plusdsl.net' and your account password - I think. It is a longtime since I set my router up, and I'm not 100% sure.

Not exactly a tech savvy person. Apparently I don’t need any further setup.

Nope. I don’t know how to change the login username as it’s a different username.

So I’ve reset the router and it’s now showing the correct login on hub manager however it won’t let me connect. Any and all help is much appreciated.

It’s not saying reporting any errors. All it states is I’m not connected.

@FionaS Sorry for the late reply - been out to lunch - but glad you are now up and running. Probably just needed to sort itself out once you had the correct credentials in place.
