In my case there was some pattern but certainly not conclusive.

Hi both, thanks for coming back to us.
@aileenheal - Having checked your account I can see that you never got to the stage where a fault was raised to our suppliers (as per the link that my colleague Alisdair sent on his previous post), however, the issue affecting your connection appears to be a wifi related one, rather than a physical issue with the connection to your premises.
@Roadtorode - I can see that you've raised a fault today however the same information applies - your connection is largely stable with only a few drops that may very well be you rebooting the router.
I would strongly recommend ensuring that all wifi troubleshooting is completed (and indeed any other wifi advice from the community is heeded) before progressing this down the fault route to our suppliers.
