Broadband in France

As a newcomer to Plusnet and the forum, please advise!
Is it possible to use my Plusnet broadband connection in France.?
As I have a small cottage in the Charente region which I visit occasionaly it would be great if I could use my computer there more efficiently!

Re: Brodband in France

No. PlusNet broadband will only work over British Telecom phone lines. It will not work on cable and it will not work abroad.
You can still get broadband in France but you would need to do it via a French ISP and PlusNet would have nothing to do with it.

Re: Broadband in France

An alternative worth investigating is FON which BT also support. You share you broadband in the UK in exchange for access to other people's broadband in the UK or worldwide. Check the maps to see if you french cottage is near a Fon spot. If not may be worth having a word with the neighbours!
