I signed up to Plusnet at the start of the month as I was looking to move my phone and fibre over from BT. The phone activation went through fine but the fibre was meant to be activated yesterday in time for Christmas but I've not received any notifications from Plusnet. Understandably I imagine they are now closed for the holidays but not overly happy as some of the kids Christmas presents require internet connections. Has anyone got any idea if there is anything I can do at this end to get the broadband working?

If you've got 4G then you could buy a 4G router but it's an expensive option as we found out when we couldn't get a 4G signal on the mobile phones in our house.

Many thanks for replying, I think we are now ok.
Strangest thing, the fibre was meant to be activated yesterday but wasn't, however when I got up this morning (Christmas day) I had an email and text advising that it is now up and running. Thank you so much Plusnet, the kids presents are already up and running 🙂
