After seemless broadband for quite some time, this evening I've come across a slow speed issue.

Hi Steevo, sorry to hear that there's an issue. I've just been running some diagnostic tests to look into this from our side and we're not seeing any obvious causes for the issue.
If you haven't already it would be a good idea to try a speed test over a wired connection to the router. Here are some troubleshooting checks you could try running too: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting/

Thanks Adam.
I found my internet had completely dropped out earlier as the Internet light was missing on my router.
Called support and was advised the connection wasn't in sync. New router has now been ordered so should be here in 3-5 days apparently.
