Broadband connection dropping out frequently

I am experiencing intermittent, but fairly frequent, dropping of my broadband connection. Once or twice a day is not uncommon. My router is connected to the master telephone socket. My telephone sounds intermittently crackly. This has been going on for a few weeks now and it's getting tiresome. I'm out of contract and I'm prepared to take my business elsewhere.

Could you please investigate?

Re: Broadband connection dropping out frequently

A phone line fault will always cause broadband problems whichever ISP you are with.

You need to report a phone line fault with your phone provider (if it's PlusNet you can use faults.plus.net, live chat, or phone the support team on 0800 432 0200)

Re: Broadband connection dropping out frequently

Thanks JayG for the advice. I registered the fault at faults.plus.net and their system confirmed that my broadband connection had dropped a couple of times each day for the last week. You'd think that that would have prompted them to investigate without me having to complain, but no. Poor service.
