Broadband activation

Hi All,
Just a quick one. If my line is ready and I already have my router (arrived today), why do i still have another 6 days before my activation? I currently have no broadband provider, so I was hoping this would mean an easy remote activation.

Hi @Arthurton166, I'm afraid it's not always as straight forward as both you and we would like as although we have a minimum lead time of 5 days for when placing fiber orders it's ultimately down to engineer availability in the area as the engineer will be required to do physical work at the cabinet to get the broadband up and running.

After checking into your order I can see the completion date is still set for the date mentioned on the ticket here and if there are any changes by all means we'll let you know.
